about Aslıhan Kaplan Bayrak

Aslıhan was born in Zonguldak,Turkey in 25.10.1975. She was graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2007 with the first graduation degree. She had the award of te first prize from Sabancı Foundation. She was also graduated from Electronics and Communication Engineering of Yıldız Technical University in 1997. After working for several years in leading companies, she quit work and went after her childhood wish of being an artist. That was the time she tried to attend to the fine arts university. She managed to success at the first time she did the ability test. From then she is only working for her artistic carreer. She is one of the founders of Gravürhane Etching Atelier. She still works there.And also she has her own atelier where she paints and works for printmaking. She had a solo exhibition in 2011 and so many other exhibitions also art fairs. So many collectors has her works such as Sabancı, Ahmet Merey, Government Painting and Sculpture Museum which are wellknown in Turkey.
